My insurance would not cover Lasik, so he removed my cataracts manually. The fog is gone, but the vision itself has not improved that much. I would seriously recommend Lasik - if I had had the money, that's what I would have done. The people are professional and polite and do seem to care about your health. But, if you have a choice, choose LASIK!!

I'm almost one week post LASIK. Ill edit this as I see fit. Unlike other reviewers I did see the same doctor each exam, once at consult and the next at the +1 day follow up. My vision is not perfect, but at this point it is too soon to say, and I did need a large correction. I did not ever meet a surgeon, except when invited into the LASIK suite. The procedure was very smooth and the staff seemed confident. The facility is super nice, but its sprawl does indicate they work on volume. My procedure was scheduled for 2pm but was an hour late, it appears as though they booked all six of us in the same time slot. I do have to say though, for a 3500 dollar procedure, the after care items such as the sleep goggles are quite chintzy, and I purchased my own to supplement. Financing is available at good terms, 0% for 24 mos if paid in full, but do read the terms as they are slightly sneaky. This is the lender mind you, not the facility. Strong four star experience.
