Nadia Virani, O.D.
Dr. Virani graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology. She then went on to earn her doctor of optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
During her training, Dr. Virani was invited to join the prestigious Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society, and earned her student fellow with the American Optometric Academy. She is currently an active member of the Texas Optometry Association as well as the American Optometric Association.
She completed internships at the University Eye Institute in Houston, Texas; Oak Hill Eye Care in Austin, Texas; and Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, Texas. Through her internships she gained experience in pediatric care, specialty contact lens fitting, low-vision treatment, neuro-ophthalmology, as well as management of ocular diseases including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma.
