Jonathan M. Starchville, O.D.
Jonathan M. Starchville, O.D., graduated cum laude from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry where he received his Doctorate of Optometry degree with special focus in therapeutics, retinal disease, and sports vision training. After receiving his doctoral degree, he pursued an ocular disease residency at Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas, Texas, where he trained extensively in the treatment and management of anterior and posterior segment disease as well as preoperative and postoperative ocular surgical care.
Dr. Starchville specializes in the treatment and management of ocular disease, particularly glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic ocular care, and in the management of retinal surgical care, cataract surgery, and LASIK surgery. He is also passionate about utilizing his sports vision experience to provide specialty vision training for athletes.
Certified by the National Board Examiners of Optometry and licensed to practice in the state of Texas as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, Dr. Starchville is also a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and Dallas County Optometric Association. He is currently pursuing Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry along with Diplomate board certification by the American Board of Optometry.
