Deepak Sobti, M.D.
Having grown up in Arlington, Dr. Sobti is happy to be home! He shares KE Eye Center of Texas’ passion for unmatched patient care and commitment to technology.
Dr. Sobti’s higher education started in Rochester, NY, where he earned both his bachelor (with honors) and his medical degrees from the University of Rochester. He was then named chief resident in his ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona. Finally, Dr. Sobti completed his formal training by completing a rigorous fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at UT Southwestern. Dr. Sobti now focuses his surgical skills on cataract and refractive surgery.
Dr. Sobti is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons. Throughout his career, Dr. Sobti has published numerous research manuscripts and book chapters covering various topics in the latest surgical techniques in eye surgery.
Dr. Sobti is passionate about learning and serving the community. Throughout his training, he has sought mentorship from leading surgeons around the world and has been honored to be a volunteer surgeon in Haiti and Nepal. In his spare time, Dr. Sobti enjoys music, the arts and photography.
